We are seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and demonstrate exceptional mechanical and electrical knowledge. This role is crucial in ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment, contributing to overall operational efficiency. The Equipment Technician will work closely with various departments to provide technical support and maintain equipment functionality.
- Expected hours 40-65 per week
- 12 hour shift
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, utilizing schematics and logic controllers.
- Fabricate and weld components as necessary to ensure equipment reliability.
- Respond promptly to equipment-related inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational processes and improve equipment performance.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Mechatronic and electro-mechanic (an asset)
- Robotics — FANUC or similar preferred
- Controls — VFD, PLCs, HMI, Allen Bradley or similar
- Electrical — high and low voltage
- Mechanical
- Pneumatics
- Hydraulics
- Welding (MIG, TIG)
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and industrial electrician practices is a plus.
- Experience in welding and fabrication techniques is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Class G License (required)
